STANISLAUS COUNTY, Calif. — California's Primary Election will help shape the mayor's office of the biggest city in Stanislaus County.

Sue Zwahlen will try to keep her role as the city's mayor as she contends against two other challengers in Sebastian Jones and Dewey Bedford Jr.

Among the other races to watch is Stanislaus County's Measure N, a $2.1 million bond measure that impacts the Riverbank Unified School District.

After polls close at 8 p.m., plan on seeing vote updates every one to two hours through election night.

Registrar of Voters Donna Lindner also advised voters to read their ballots carefully, specifically in regard to how many candidates on a single contest someone can vote for. Overvotes will nullify the vote.

She also said that if anyone is sending their ballot in on Election Day, then make sure it gets picked up that day as well.

Here's what to watch in Stanislaus County.
