19-year-old dies after motorcycle crash in Stanislaus County

STANISLAUS COUNTY, California — A man died Saturday after a motorcycle crash in Stanislaus County.

The California Highway Patrol said around 2:30 p.m. on June 8 officers received reports of a crash along Highway 132 near Crabtree Road. It's near the community of Roberts Ferry.

A 19-year-old man was riding a motorcycle eastbound on Highway 132 when he tried to turn onto Crabtree Road but didn't make the turn. The man was ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene.

His name wasn't released, but California Highway Patrol said he was from Oakdale.

The crash is under investigation and it's unclear if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
