Stockton police release photo of vehicle connected to deadly May shooting

The 26-year-old victim returned home with his two young kids in the back seat when three people came up to him and started shooting.

STOCKTON, Calif. — The Stockton Police Department is looking for more information after a May shooting left a man dead and 6-year-old injured.

Police say it happened May 29 on the 2400 block of Tilden Park Street around 10:20 p.m. The 26-year-old victim returned home with his two young kids in the back seat when three people came up to him and started shooting.

The victim died at the scene and the 6-year-old was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police have now released a photo of the vehicle the suspects were in before and after the shooting.
