73-year-old hit, killed by car in Stockton

The collision was reported around 9:20 p.m. in the area of East Fremont Street and North F Street.

STOCKTON, Calif. — A 73-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a car in Stockton Wednesday night.

According to Stockton Police Department, the collision was reported around 9:20 p.m. in the area of East Fremont Street and North F Street.

Arriving officers found the car, the 60-year-old driver and the pedestrian, the 73-year-old man who was hit. 

Despite efforts from first responders, the 73-year-old died at the scene. 

It's not clear what led up to the collision, but police said DUI doesn't appear to be a factor.
