Allegiant adds new flight between Stockton and Denver

The newly announced flight is one of 44 that were announced by the airline.

STOCKTON, Calif. — There will soon be a flight that will connect Stockton and Denver.

Allegiant Airlines is adding a twice-weekly flight from Stockton Metropolitan Airport (SCK) to Denver International Airport (DEN) in May 2025. The Denver airport is considered the largest airport in the United States, according Stockton airport officials.

Flights from Stockton will have one-way fares for as low as $59, beginning May 25, 2025, but baggage fess may apply and additional restrictions may apply, according to Allegiant. The newly announced flight is one of 44 new nonstop routes Allegiant announced on Nov. 19.

"We are pleased to introduce this new service and provide the community with a new, convenient, and affordable nonstop travel destination," Richard Sokol, director of Stockton Metropolitan Airport, said in a press release. "This is an exciting step forward in the airport's continuing effort to bring more travel options to our region."

In addition to the new connecting flight, Allegiant will increase the number of trips from Stockton to Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas to nine times per week beginning in summer 2025. The airline will also increase flights from Stockton to Sky Harbor International Airport to Phoenix to three times a week.

In April, the San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors approved more than $26 million for improvements at the airport. The most significant portion is $8 million intended toward terminal improvements.

"This is very exciting news for our County and region," San Joaquin County Board of Supervisors Chair Miguel Villapudua said in a statement. "The board lauds Allegiant's decision to expand and augment its service to and from Stockton."
