Arrest made in Stockton ATM robbery, police say

Police arrested a 14-year-old for the attack, and a 15-year-old remains at large

STOCKTON, Calif. — Stockton police have made one arrest in the robbery and assault of an elderly woman at an ATM in a shopping center.

Police arrested a 14-year-old for the attack, and a 15-year-old remains at large.

The robbery happened around 7 p.m. on Aug. 31 steps away from the busy SF Supermarket at Hammer and West Lanes. Police said two teens knocked the woman to the ground and stole all the money out of her hand.

Family members said the 73-year-old withdrew $500 to give to her grandkids. She was okay, but all of the cash was stolen.

Law enforcement is asking anyone who has information about the case to contact Stockton Crime Stoppers at 209-946-0600.
