STOCKTON, Calif. — The owner of a jewelry store opened fire on two armed men who police say were robbing the victim outside of his downtown Stockton business Friday.
According to Stockton Police, officers went to the 39th block of San Joaquin Street around 6 p.m. Friday after 911 callers reported a robbery.
Investigators say the victims, a 75-year-old man and 76-year-old woman, were outside of their jewelry store when two men armed with handguns walked up to them.
One of the suspects took the man's bag. The man, who police say owned the business that he was standing outside of, allegedly took out a handgun and fired multiple shots at the two robbers.
