Woman hospitalized after attack by multiple dogs in Stockton

Police said the incident happened in the area of South San Joaquin Street and East Hazelton Avenue

STOCKTON, Calif. — A woman was taken to the hospital after she was attacked by multiple dogs in Stockton.

The Stockton Police Department said the dog attack was reported around 10 a.m. in the area of South San Joaquin Street and East Hazelton Avenue.

According to police, the victim, a 54-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with moderate but non-life-threatening injuries.

The dogs ran off before police arrived to the area, and it's not clear who the dogs belong to.
