STOCKTON, Calif. — A Saturday morning shooting in downtown Stockton left two people hurt, the city's police department said.
Officers say they got to the scene of the shooting around 9:51 a.m. Saturday in the 400 block of E Flora Street. At the scene, officials say they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Medics took the man to the hospital and police say later they found a second man who had been shot in the same area. Medics also took him to a hospital. Both men, ages 25 and 48, have non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not released motive or what led up to the shooting. Police say the suspect left the area in a white sedan and is a man in his early 20s.
Officials say the investigation is ongoing.
