STOCKTON, Calif. — A Stockton elementary school was confirmed to have E. Coli bacteria in their water supply.
Magenda Cruz, principal for Davis Elementary School, posted a message to families about the news on Wednesday. The school is located in Stockton, but it's a school within the Lodi Unified School District.
The site's water fountains and sinks have been closed since Tuesday and will remain closed until further notice.
The district is providing bottled water to students and staff, hand sanitizer and hand-washing stations. Nutrition services has also been using bottled water for food handling, production and sanitation.
