STOCKTON, Calif. — LEGO lovers are expected to fill south Stockton's San Joaquin County Fairgrounds in early February as the city hosts its first-ever LEGO Brick Convention.
Tickets for the two-day event are expected to sell out, promoters said in a press release announcing the convention. The Brick Convention will be held Feb. 3 and 4 featuring meet and greets with LEGO artists and celebrities, live builds, a hands-on construction zone, exhibits and zones with different themes, LEGO merchandise and more.
Admission to the convention will cost $14.99 online in advance, or $18 at the door if tickets are still available.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the volunteer nonprofit Creations for Charity, which buys new LEGO sets for underprivileged children around the world.
