STOCKTON, Calif. — A man arrested Friday in Las Vegas is accused of murder in a double homicide that happened last year in Stockton.
Derek Yatil Gordon, 27, is the third suspect arrested in the double homicide case, according to a Stockton Police Department post on Facebook. Two men were shot March 4, 2023, on the 2100 block of Airport Way, ABC10 previously reported.
First responders took both men to the hospital where they died.
Gordon was brought in for questioning Friday after he was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force in Las Vegas, police said.
He was booked into San Joaquin County Jail around 6:30 p.m. Friday, jail records show. He faces a murder charge along with gang and firearm possession charges.
Gordon is ineligible for bail and expected to appear in San Joaquin County Superior Court Monday morning, jail records show.
