$10,000 reward offered for Stockton shooting suspect

The Sheriff's Office is now offering $10,000 for Alejandro Ruvalcaba. He is considered armed and dangerous.

The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office has asked the public to be on the lookout for Alejandro Ruvacalba. The 32-year-old is wanted in connection to a Stockton homicide on July 3, 2019. He was last seen with a gun in the area near Keyes Road in Stockton on July 4.

STOCKTON, Calif. — Deputies are offering a $10,000 reward for help finding a man connected to a Stockton shooting — and warning the community that he is armed and dangerous

The shooting on East Waterloo Road happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Stockton Police Department. The victim was identified as 42-year-old Anthony Quismondo. 

Deputies believe that this was a robbery that turned deadly, according to San Joaquin County Sheriff's Spokesperson Andrea Lopez.

Police are now looking for Alejandro Ruvalcaba, who is described as 5 foot 10, 155 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The department shared the image above on Facebook, warning that Ruvalcaba is considered armed and dangerous. 

Ruvalcaba was last seen around 6 a.m. Thursday morning after he crashed his car on Keyes Road. Witnesses told police that Ruvacalba got out of the car as they were checking on him and told them that he was a wanted man and armed with a gun. He then ran took off on foot and was able to get away, Lopez said.

Investigators have tied the car Ruvalcaba crashed in (pictured below) Thursday to the Wednesday night homicide.

While there is no active search for Ruvalcaba, Lopez said that he is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the shooting can call the sheriff's department at 209-937-8377. Those who see Ruvalcaba or know his whereabouts are asked to call 911.
