Bullets strike Miracle Mile business as shooters exchange gunfire, Stockton Police say

According to police, no injuries were reported but bullets hit at least one business during the gun battle.

STOCKTON, Calif. — No injuries were reported after two shooters exchanged gunfire on Stockton's Miracle Mile stretch of Pacific Avenue Saturday morning, officials with the Stockton Police Department said.

According to police, around 10:10 a.m. gunfire broke out in the popular shopping and dining district, in the 1800 block of Pacific Avenue.

One shooter was in a car and the other was walking in the area, police said. Authorities did not provide any information about the shooters, but said that both left the area after opening fire.

Multiple bullets reportedly struck a Starbucks location. Officers say the investigation is ongoing. All roads in the area have re-opened.
