Raymond Rodriguez identified as man killed in Stockton shooting

The Stockton Police Department said the shooting happened after 6:30 p.m. in the area of Dr. MLK Jr. Boulevard and Aurora Street.

STOCKTON, Calif. — The victim in a deadly Stockton shooting from Saturday night was identified as Raymond Rodriguez, 46.

The San Joaquin County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the victim's identity with ABC10 on Sunday. 

The Stockton Police Department said the shooting happened after 6:30 p.m. in the area of Dr. MLK Jr. Boulevard and Aurora Street.

Police said they found a man in his 40s with a gunshot wound, who was then taken to a hospital and later pronounced dead. 

Police said the investigation of the shooting is ongoing, and there's no information on a suspect at this time. The motive remains unknown.
