STOCKTON, California — A Denair man was killed in a three-vehicle crash on northbound Highway 99 in Stockton Wednesday, according to California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. just south of Arch Road.
CHP says a 37-year-old man from Denair was driving a 2009 Ford northbound at a high rate of speed.
A 2023 Hino truck involved in an earlier crash was stopped in the center divider when the driver of the Ford drifted into the divider and rear-ended the Hino.
CHP says the impact of the crash caused the Ford to spin out and it was hit by a 2005 Ram. The driver of the Ford was ejected and died.
It's unknown if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash.
