Stockton Lighted Boat Parade comes to downtown for 42nd annual event

Stockton's annual Delta Reflections Lighted Boat Parade starts at 5 p.m. up river at the Windmill Cove Dec. 2 in collaboration with the Stockton Yacht Club.

STOCKTON, Calif. — The 42nd annual Delta Reflections Lighted Boat Parade sets sail up river at Windmill Cove in Stockton at 5 p.m. Dec. 2 for the entire community to enjoy.

A gift from the Stockton Yacht Club, registered boaters and longtime partner Roger Hahn — the parade can be seen from anywhere in the downtown Stockton waterfront.

Boaters with vessels of all sizes are welcome to participate and register for a $25 donation that will go toward a local charity.

According to organizers, the best viewing locations include:

  • The north shore behind Banner Island Ballpark and the Stockton Marina
  • The south shore near the marina and waterfront warehouse
  • Weber Point

Starting at Windmill Cove, organizers say the parade is expected to reach the downtown Stockton Marina and Weber point around 6:30 p.m. before returning to Light 39 in the Stockton Deep Water Channel where the parade will end.

This year's parade is dedicated to Lynn Hahn, a former member of the Marina West Yacht Club who will be remembered for her dedication to preservation of the San Joaquin Delta.

The City of Stockton will host its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony the night of the parade as well.
