Stockton police: 7 arrested after search warrant uncovers illegal gambling operation

Police said special enforcement and SWAT teams were sent to the 2300 block of Hydrangea Drive Friday.

STOCKTON, Calif. — Seven suspects were arrested Friday in Stockton after police said they served a search warrant and discovered an illegal gambling establishment in someone’s garage.

Officers with the Stockton Police Department said special enforcement and Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams served a search warrant on the 2300 block of Hydrangea Drive near Arthur Court. Officers discovered an illegal gambling establishment inside, according to a department news release.

Tracy Harbutte, 36, allegedly operated the establishment out of her garage, police said. Harbutte was arrested in connection with the operation and animal cruelty charges, according to the news release. No further information on those charges is available at this time. 

Police said officers also found four guns at the residence and six other people were arrested in connection with weapons-related charges and outstanding warrants.

Police said the following people were arrested after serving the warrant Friday:

  • Phansy Hea, 41
  • Jessie Taylor, 29
  • Ariana Flores, 19
  • Briana Flores, 18
  • Eric Hall, 18
  • A 16-year-old

Hea is in custody facing felony identity theft charges and is expected to appear in San Joaquin County Superior Court Monday afternoon, San Joaquin County Jail records show. His bail is set at $100,000.

Taylor is in custody facing felony residential burglary charges and is set to appear in court Monday afternoon, jail records show. She is ineligible for bail.

Ariana Flores is in custody facing gang-related charges and separate felony firearm possession charges, jail records show. She is set to appear in court Tuesday afternoon and is ineligible for bail, according to jail records.

Briana Flores is also in custody facing gang-related charges and separate felony firearm possession charges, jail records show. She is expected to appear in court Tuesday afternoon and is ineligible for bail, according to jail records.

Hall is in custody facing charges related to felony firearm possession and is expected to appear in court Tuesday afternoon, jail records show. His bail is set at $150,000.
