STOCKTON, Calif. — A man died after a shooting in Stockton Sunday night in the Civic District.
The Stockton Police Department said the shooting happened near North Commerce Street and West Vine Street around 8:40 p.m. Officers responded to the area and found a 37-year-old man who had been shot. He was taken to a hospital where he died.
It's unclear what led up to the shooting. The deadly shooting is under investigation.
