Man arrested after deadly Sacramento stabbing

Police say the stabbing happened Sunday night along the 2800 block of Gateway Oaks Drive.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento police officers arrested a man Monday night after a deadly weekend stabbing.

The Sacramento Police Department said 30-year-old Gino Espinosa is suspected of stabbing and killing a man Sunday night in South Natomas.

Police said the the stabbing happened around 8:30 p.m. along the 2800 block of Gateway Oaks Drive.

When officers arrived, they found a man with at least one stab wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries. The victim has not been identified yet.
