A man has been arrested for the murder of a Vallejo woman.
According to the Vallejo Police Department, Ishmeal Zeno, 37, of Vallejo, was arrested Sunday for the murder of Melissa Owens, 35, Vallejo.
Police were called to the 100 block of Myrtlewood Court around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, for reports of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, they found Owens dead from a gunshot wound.
Zeno was soon taken into custody without incident by the Antioch Police Department. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call Detective Rob Greenberg at (707) 648-4280 or Detective Jason Martinez at (707) 648-4279.
