Teen killed in shooting at Stockton house party

The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office says the deadly shooting is being investigated as a homicide.

STOCKTON, Calif. — A teenager is dead after a shooting at a Stockton house party.

According to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 11 p.m. Saturday along the 12000 block of E Whitehouse Road in Stockton.

Upon arrival, deputies found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he died Sunday.

The sheriff’s office says witnesses at the scene told deputies the shooting happened during a large house party and several people may have been involved.

The deadly shooting is being investigated as a homicide. The victim has not been identified yet and there is no suspect information at this time.
