SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Multiple people were arrested after two people, including a pregnant woman, were injured at the Downtown Commons Saturday night.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded to a call about a large group of teens fighting in the downtown area at 8 p.m.. The call prompted police activity in the K Street tunnel.
All of the teens ran away from the scene, police said.
Police said the report came from someone who was calling on behalf of a pregnant woman was hit in the stomach in front of the Macy's DOCO store. The caller also sustained scratches.
The pregnant woman and caller were taken to the hospital and their injuries are non-life threatening, police said.
Police said it's not unknown what the caller was cut and did not confirm how many people were arrested.
