The Climate Prediction Center forecasts above average temperatures for the region this week and into next.
On average, Valley daytime high temperatures range from the middle 60s to near 70 degrees. There will be points this week where high temperatures will run about 10 degrees above average.The showers across the west slope of the Sierra with will come to an end today. High pressure will move in, bringing dry conditions and clear skies.Tuesday will be warmer with sunshine. Valley daytime highs will range from the low to mid 70s.Wednesday across the Valley is expected to be warm with highs in the mid to upper 70s. By Wednesday night into Thursday morning, a weak system will quickly move through the area with skies mostly cloudy. There may be a shower Thursday morning across the valley and the foothills could see shower chances throughout the day.The Sierra has as chance of rain and snow. The snow elevation will be around 6000 feet. On Friday, the sky will gradually clear. The weekend outlook is looking good! Warm and sunny across the area.
