LATHROP, Calif. — The family of Tommy Clark is relieved and devastated after learning his body was pulled from the San Joaquin River Saturday afternoon.
Brittney Clark, Tommy's daughter, confirmed the update with ABC10 on Sunday.
She said the man was with her father identified the body. She said the news is a lot to process, but the family is both relieved and devastated.
Tommy Clark's body was found two weeks after a boat capsized in the San Joaquin River near Lathrop. Two men went overboard, one got out of the water and Brittney's father wasn't found.
The news brings an end to a search that started back on May 23. Ultimately, volunteer diver Juan Heredia said he found the body and reported it to law enforcement.
His family remembers him as a loving father, grandfather and brother. A GoFundMe to support the family is available HERE.
