The Tracy Police Chief, Larry Esquivel, has been terminated from his position due to a personnel matter, according to the City of Tracy.
The City says Captain Alex Neicu will take over in the interim.
In October 2015, Esquivel was selected as Chief of the Tracy Police Department. He previously had over 30 years of experience in law enforcement with the City of San Jose, according to the City of Tracy.
