ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Trader Joe's is planning to open a second location in Roseville.
A spokesperson for Trader Joe's told ABC10 Friday there isn't any information on a location or timeline and that its plans are still developing.
Roseville City Councilman Scott Alvord wrote in a Facebook post Friday that Trader Joe's obtained its demolition permit for space occupied by a 99 Cents store located at 10261 Fairway Drive.
"Very sad that they can't find a good deal in western Roseville (yet) because it has ideal demographics, just not old, less expensive buildings. We'll keep trying to convince a developer to give them a great deal," Alvord wrote in his Facebook post.
Trader Joe's has a location in Roseville at 1117 Roseville Square and another location in the area in Rocklin at 5116 Commons Drive Suite #103.
