Cat found dead after apartment fire in Turlock

The fire happened on the 300 block of West Hawkeye Avenue

TURLOCK, Calif — An apartment fire left one cat dead but no people hurt in Turlock Sunday evening.

The Turlock Fire Department responded to the 300 block of West Hawkeye Avenue for the blaze just after 6 p.m. 

Arriving crews found a fire in the second story of an apartment complex, but they were able to bring it under control in about 15 minutes.
