TURLOCK, Calif. — 5 P.M. UPDATE:
Turlock Police Department has identified the suspected vehicle as a 2004 Acura TL, four door, with California license plate #8LMZ774.
Police have asked the public to be on the lookout for this vehicle and to contact local law enforcement with any sightings.

Police are searching for a suspect following a hit-and-run Tuesday afternoon that left an elderly man dead in Turlock.
The 83-year-old man from Modesto was fatally struck by what witnesses described as a small white car while walking along Fulkerth Road around 3:30 p.m., according to Turlock Police.
The suspect fled the scene. Paramedics arrived shortly after and tried to save the man, but he eventually died from his injuries on the scene.
Fulkerth Road was closed off for about four hours while police gathered evidence to identify a suspect.
During the investigation, police obtained camera footage of the incident and are now searching for the suspected responsible vehicle described as a small white 2000's Acura TL with damage to the windshield and front passenger side.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen the suspect's car or with any information to contact the Turlock Police Department.
The identities of the victim and the suspect are unknown at the time.
