TURLOCK, Calif. — A man died in a Turlock crash that also injured "multiple" others Friday evening, according to police.
The Turlock Police Department says officers were called to the area of West Christoffersen Parkway and Kilroy Avenue around 4 p.m. about a crash involving multiple cars.
Three cars total were involved and officials say "multiple occupants" were taken to the hospital and a 48-year-old Turlock man died. It's unclear how many other people were injured and what their conditions are.
An investigation is ongoing but police say alcohol and drugs likely were not a cause of the crash. Officials are asking anyone with information or video about the crash to contact Officer Fortado at 209-664-7399.
