SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The UC Davis spring class of 2024 graduates this weekend in Sacramento.
Several students in the undergraduate class of 2024 weren't able to have a high school graduation due to lockdowns during the COVID-19 pandemic, making this year's commencement an especially meaningful milestone.
Commencement ceremonies are from Friday, June 14 through Sunday, June 16. There's a morning and afternoon ceremony on Friday and Saturday. Sunday will only have a morning ceremony.
Graduates chose a ceremony to attend. Seating assignments aren't based on college or major, and majors won't be announced or displayed as graduates walk across the stage.
For guests, the tickets are for general admission seating and will be first come, first served. Doors open 90 minutes before the start time listed for each ceremony.
Golden 1 Center is a bagless venue and won't allow in bags larger than 8″x6″x1." See a list of prohibited items HERE.
This will be the second year commencement is held at Sacramento's Golden 1 Center rather than in Davis.
