VACAVILLE, Calif. — Vacaville Police arrested a 17-year-old boy Friday accused of shooting and killing a 16-year-old.
According to police, the teenage suspect and victim got into a fight which led to the shooting Thursday on Meadows Drive. Police say both teens were shot and medics took them to a hospital.
The 16-year-old died at the hospital and the 17-year-old was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers say the suspect is still in the hospital, but that law enforcement will take him to Solano County Juvenile Hall after he is released.
