SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. — A vegetation fire at a prison in Vacaville is being fought by multiple agencies Friday afternoon, according to officials.
The Fairfield Fire Department says the fire is in the area of Peabody Road and California Drive. The Solano County Office of Emergency Services says no evacuations have been ordered at this time.
Solano OES says the fire happened behind the California Medical Facility. There's no information about how it started, how many acres have burned or if there are any injuries.
