Mendocino Farms opening first Vacaville location

The Vacaville location will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for dine-in, pickup or delivery.

VACAVILLE, Calif. — A salad and sandwich place is opening its first Vacaville location Tuesday.

Mendocino Farms is located at 1640 E Monte Vista Avenue in Solano County's Nut Tree Plaza.

Some of the summer chef's creations include a Street Corn Chicken Sandwich, a Sweet Peach and Goat Cheese Salad, and a Summer Heirloom BLT. There are also sides and soups including Spicy Curried Couscous, Chicken Tortilla Soup and Kale & Apple Rainbow Salad, among others.

“At Mendocino Farms, we understand that great food has the power to bring communities together, creating connections and memories around the table,” Kevin Miles, CEO of Mendocino Farms, said in a statement. “As we open our first restaurant in Vacaville, we want to thank our loyal guests who have supported us and embraced Mendo in Sacramento, the Bay Area, NorCal and beyond. We are excited to serve the residents, workers, and visitors in Vacaville for years to come.”

Monday is the last people can create a My Mendo account, and choose "Sacramento-Vacaville" as their favorite location ahead of opening day to receive a free entrée with the purchase of any other menu item, according to Mendocino Farms.

The Vacaville location will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. for dine-in, pickup or delivery.

Other locations in the Greater Sacramento area include Arden, Folsom, Land Park, Midtown and Roseville.
