SOLANO COUNTY, Calif — NorthBay Health, a healthcare provider in Solano County, recently suffered what they’re calling a “cybersecurity incident.”
Little information is known about what happened, but a statement put out by NorthBay Health says they’re continuing to “safely care for our patients using established downtime procedures, in which our physicians and staff are well-trained.”
The NorthBay Health website is entirely down but phone lines are working.
NorthBay Health officials say the incident is "resulting in some temporary disruptions to certain IT systems." It’s unclear what impact it's had and may continue to have on patients, appointments and more.
The communications team was unable to provide ABC10 with any additional information about the incident.
“We are working diligently to restore systems as quickly and as safely as possible,” they said in a statement. “The safety of our patients, staff and physicians is our top priority as we work to address and investigate this incident.”
