VACAVILLE, Calif. — A man hit by a car in Vacaville ultimately died from his injuries.
The Vacaville Police Department said the collision happened in the area of East Monte Vista Avenue and Cernon Street around 2:11 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police said the man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but on Thursday, they said he didn't survive.
The driver in the collision stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Police said driver impairment doesn't appear to be a factor in the crash.
