SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people were hospitalized Saturday after a two-vehicle collision in Arden-Arcade.
According to the California Highway Patrol, it happened around 3:15 p.m. on Marconi Avenue near Wright Street.
CHP says one vehicle was headed eastbound on Marconi when a second vehicle ran a red light and turned right onto Marconi. The two vehicles collided and both drivers were taken to the hospital with major injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and the scene is clear.
