Bowling alley, restaurant and arcade: The BLVD! sets eyes on West Sacramento site

The company is planning on a spring 2025 opening.

WEST SACRAMENTO, California — A new entertainment venue and restaurant is set to land in West Sacramento by spring 2025.

The BLVD! is a blend between a bowling alley, arcade and restaurant that's expected to redevelop a former Safeway site. It'll be around 40,000 square feet.

According to the BLVD!, the venue will have a full-service restaurant and bar, patio and 20 bowling lanes, a private VIP bowling lounge, more than 60 interactive arcade and virtual reality games, a laser tag arena, billiard tables, private party areas and meeting rooms.

For sports lovers, they won't have any shortage of spots to check out the big game. The venue will have a 15-foot screen over the bowling lanes, a 16-foot LED screen in the restaurant and 30 HDTVs.

For the foodies, they'll be able to try the chicken wings, bacon and jalapeño wontons, pizza, street tacos and burgers. They'll even be able to wash it down with local brews or cocktails from the bar.

“We’re thrilled to bring The BLVD! to West Sacramento and to be opening a venue that promises great food and fun for adults as well as the entire family,” said David C. Bynum, CEO. “The BLVD! is the perfect venue for adults, corporate clients, families and friends to get together in a fun, high-energy environment with the added excitement of bowling, sports viewing, arcade games with Americana cuisine and crafted cocktails. We can’t wait to share this experience with the community of West Sacramento.”

Construction for the venue is expected later in July with a target opening of spring 2025. It'll bring in several full-time positions and about 100 part-time jobs when it opens.
