WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A fiery crash early Saturday in West Sacramento left at least one person dead and another person injured, police said.
The deadly crash happened around 12 a.m. near Southport Parkway and Silverwood Road. According to West Sacramento Police, a car overturned and caught fire.
Two people were inside of the car at the time. One of them was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.
Officials say they are investigating what caused the crash and don't have any additional information.
