WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The suspect in a deadly Monday night shooting in West Sacramento is now in custody after less than a day, according to police.
Officers responded to the shooting at the Circle K gas station on West Capital Ave. and found the unidentified victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Police say a fight happened between two adult men before the shooting.
Police say they've arrested a suspect — who they did not identify — and booked them on suspicion of the shooting and unlawful possession of a gun. The suspect also had an active felony warrant out for their arrest on an unrelated gun charge.
Officers say there are no other suspects in the shooting.
