Man accused of arson in connection to Amador County Electra Fire

The suspect was booked into the county jail on suspicion of arson.

AMADOR COUNTY, Calif. — A man was put behind bars after being accused of starting a 4,400-acre wildfire in Amador County in 2022.

Cal Fire said Danny Killion, 39, of Yuba City, was arrested in connection the Electra Fire on Aug. 29. 

The Electra sparked on July 4, 2022 in the area of Electra Road and Highway 49, southeast of Jackson in Amador County. The fire spread across parts of Amador and Calaveras counties.

Killion was booked into the county jail on suspicion of arson.
