Kincade Fire: Maps, road closures and evacuation information

The Kincade Fire in Sonoma County has reached 25,455 acres with 10% containment.

GEYSERVILLE, Calif. — A fast-growing wildfire in Sonoma County has caused the sheriff's office to issue evacuations in the area.

The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office issued a mandatory evacuation order for all of Geyserville. Evacuations have been issued for the following areas: Cloverdale Geysers Road, Geysers Road, Red Winery Road, Alexander Mountain Road, Pine Flat Road, All roads east of Highway 128 to Geyserville.

On Oct. 25, an additional evacuation order was given for more parts of Sonoma County. Evacuation orders were given for Ida Clayton Road, (including residents on Ida Clayton Road) North to Highland Ranch Road at Campbell Road, East of the 101 between Asti Road and Alexander Valley Road to the Mendocino and Lake County Line, including Lakeview Road and extending South along the Lake and Sonoma County Line to Ida Clayton Road.

On Saturday, Oct. 26, more evacuation orders were given to the entire city of Healdsburg and the town of Windsor and all areas East to Chalk Hill Road area, including Hwy. 128 North Knights Valley Area to the Napa County Line, and Hwy. 101 Corridor from Geyserville South through the town of Windsor.

On the evening of Saturday, Oct. 26, more evacuation orders were given Dry Creek Valley including the upper portion of Westside Road and Mill Creek Road, Larkfield and Mark West Drainage and all areas west of Healdsburg and Windsor through the Russian River Valley to Bodega Bay.

Early Sunday morning, on Oct. 27, more evacuation orders were given for all areas west of Fulton Road, Llano Road, Pepper road to the Marin County Line. This area includes Sebastopol, Bloomfield, and Valley Ford.

The Cal Fire incident report notes structures and powerlines are currently threatened. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

In 2017, a series of destructive wildfires nicknamed the North Bay Fires, burned 245,000 acres in areas include Sonoma County.

  • SR 128 @ Pine Flat Road
  • SR 128 @ Railroad Avenue
  • Lytton Station Road@ Lytton Springs Road
  • Healdsburg Avenue @ Alexander Valley Road
  • All roads east of Hwy 101 in the Geyserville area
