The Pay Fire in El Dorado County holds at 77 acres and is 25% contained Sunday, authorities said.
The fire, which started Saturday afternoon, sparked around Paydirt Road, southeast of Placerville, according to the El Dorado County Fire Protection District.
"There have been adjustments to the evacuation order and evacuation warning zones boundaries," the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office said noon Sunday on Facebook.
Orders have been changed to warnings in areas around Cedar Ravine and Texas Hill roads to Gingham Court, south of Texas Hill and Big Barn roads. On Sunday evening more areas were reduced to evacuations warnings, including the areas of Big Barn Road to Newtown Road north of Texas Hill Road. However, some areas of Texas Hill Road are still under evacuations orders along with Denim Court and Pay Dirt Road.
Forward progress of the fire has been stopped, fire officials said Sunday.

Multiple structures were threatened and some airplane hangers were involved in the fire, according to firefighters.
Cal Fire AEU said Saturday the fire had a "dangerous rate of spread" due to high temperatures, steep topography and winds causing spotting.
Roughly 180 PG&E customers are without power Sunday, and a power outage impacted the area Saturday, according to the company’s outage map, which can be found HERE.

In 2022, approximately 331,360 acres burned overall from 7,477 wildfires — well below the five-year average, according to Cal Fire.
