Power is expected to be shut off at 10 p.m. Saturday night with an estimated restoration date of Oct. 6.
The following cities and counties are impacted:
Butte County (10,235 customers): Berry Creek, Brush Creek, Butte Meadows, Butte Valley, Chico, Cohasset, Feather Falls, Forbestown, Forest Ranch, Magalia, Oroville, Paradise, Paradise Pines, Pulga, Stirling City, Yankee Hill

Pacific Gas and Electric says it might cut power to about 12,000 customers in parts of Northern California because of potential fire danger.
The utility said it was monitoring weather conditions and may shut off power in parts of Butte, Plumas and Yuba counties starting Saturday night when winds were expected to pick up.
Butte County is where a wildfire blamed on PG&E transmission lines killed 85 people last year and devastated the town of Paradise.
PG&E was also monitoring weather conditions in El Dorado, Napa, Nevada, Placer, Tehama and Yolo counties as the forecast calls for gusty winds and hot, dry weather in Northern California inland areas.
If a Public Safety Power Shutoff is done for parts of Butte, Plumas, and Yuba counties, current expectations estimate power to be shut off between Oct. 5 at 10 p.m. to Oct. 6 at 8 a.m. A power restoration time would be announced later.
The largest possible impact lies with Butte County, with more 11,000 who could be impacted. PG&E says the following counties and cities could be impacted in the event a Public Safety Power Shutoff occurs.
