Possible PG&E public safety power shut-offs loom over Butte, Colusa counties

A map on PG&E’s website outlining future PSPS outages says any shut-offs in Butte and Colusa counties should be back on by 1 p.m. Tuesday.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. — Butte and Colusa counties in California contain multiple areas earmarked for possible Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) public safety power shut-offs (PSPS) on Tuesday.

A map on PG&E’s website outlining future PSPS outages says any shut-offs in Butte and Colusa counties should be back on by 1 p.m. Tuesday.

PG&E’s PSPS forecast says there are no shut-offs Tuesday, however, the company’s outage map reads there are seven customers without power for PSPS in the Sierra National Forest, east of Kerckhoff Lake, and one customer is affected in Happy Valley, southwest of Redding.
