YOLO COUNTY, Calif. — Update 9:49 p.m.:
The Sand Fire has destroyed seven buildings in its path to burning 2,200 acres in Yolo County, according to Cal Fire. The fire is only 20% contained.
Evacuation orders are still in place for all residents on County Road 41. Cal Fire said the evacuation center at Esparto Boy Scout Cabin has been "suspended due to a continued zero occupancy level." It will reopen if needs change.
Resources at the fire now include 740 personnel, 57 engines, 25 hand crews, four helicopters, 12 dozers and 11 water tenders.
Update 4:21 p.m.:
The Sand Fire has grown to a total 2,200 acres, according to CAL Fire.
Containment is now up from before and stands at 20%.
Additional help for the fire has by the way of Sacramento Fire Department, Folsom Fire Department, and Davis Fire Department.

The Sand Fire in Yolo County stands at 1,800 acres since starting on June 8.
CAL FIRE is continuing the firefight against a blaze in the Capay Valley area near the town of Guinda in Yolo County.
The fire was reported at a rapid rate of spread and is on steep brush covered slopes. Resources at the fire include 500 personnel, 28 engines, four fire crews, four helicopters, five dozers, and five water tenders.
Evacuations were ordered for all people on County Road 41 and an evacuation center can be found at Esparto Boy Scout Cabin at 16980 Yolo Avenue.
Mutal aid resources from the area have already responded to the fire including personnel from Sacramento Fire Department and Folsom Fire Department.
