SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. — A woman is in the hospital after she was hit by a car along Interstate 5 in San Joaquin County.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision happened along northbound Interstate 5, south of Eight Mile Road.
Police said a woman's car was disabled, and while she was waiting for help, she got out of it and was hit by another car. She had life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital.
A third vehicle was also involved in the collision, sideswiping the second car that was involved.
