WOODLAND, Calif. — The Woodland Police Department is investigating allegations a former school administrator had "inappropriate contact" with at least one student at Woodland Christian School.
The police department said it received a phone call from Woodland Christian School on May 11 around 6:15 p.m. about inappropriate, off-campus contact between a female employee and one or more high school students. Police are investigating it as "unlawful intercourse." There hasn't been an arrest in the case, police said.
The woman was not a teacher and was described by police as an administrator. She is no longer employed at the school, according to police. The identity of the former employee has not been released and she has not been arrested, according to police.
Woodland Christian School is a private school with students ranging from preschool through high school.
Ryan Devine, a Woodland Christian School administrator, shared a statement with ABC10.
"The incident was immediately reported to law enforcement, the employee is no longer associated with the school, and our focus is on supporting our students and their families," Devine wrote in an email to ABC10.
