Yosemite National Park to reopen Tuesday, Aug. 14

Yosemite National Park has a reopening date.

The national park plans to reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14.

The park shut down briefly due to the Ferguson Fire. According to the park's Facebook page, Wawona and Mariposa Grove are set to reopen Monday morning.

Park officials are warning that the area still may be smoky, and to plan accordingly.

Wawona Road between Wawona and Yosemite Valley, as well as Glacier Point Road will remain closed until further notice.
