$1.17M Powerball ticket sold in Woodland

A ticket with five out of five matching numbers, but no Powerball was sold at Romey's Liquors in Woodland.

WOODLAND, Calif. — The Powerball jackpot continues to climb after no one took home the grand prize on Saturday night.

But, in Northern California, one lucky person won the second-place prize of $1,176,502 before taxes. A ticket with five out of five matching numbers was sold at Romey's Liquors on 9 Main Street, Suite 105 in Woodland.

Another person, with 4 matching numbers and the Powerball won $28,205 before taxes.

The winning numbers were 4-34-35-38-69; the Powerball was 19.

The jackpot now sits at $69 million. Drawings happen on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7:59 p.m.
